Pact is a nonprofit collective uniting the beauty industry to reduce beauty packaging waste and work collaboratively toward more circular solutions for the industry.
Pact Collective is a nonprofit working to tackle the beauty industry’s hard-to-recycle packaging problem. By uniting brands, educating designers, and offering collection and mail-back programs for items too small or complex for traditional recycling, Pact helps “close the loop” on billions of cosmetic containers that would otherwise end up in the trash. To drop off empty packages:
When you’ve finished your favorite products, dump any unused goop then rinse and clean the packages. Make sure they’re truly clean and empty — packages with product left inside get incinerated because they can’t be properly recycled!
