Helpsy is a certified B Corp and Public Benefit Corporation dedicated to keeping clothing out of the trash while creating honorable jobs and building a sustainable, growing business. The organization collects, sorts, and redistributes secondhand clothing and shoes, giving unwanted textiles a second life instead of sending them to the landfill.
In 2024 alone, Helpsy collected more than 32 million pounds of clothing, shoes, and other textiles. An impressive 95% of these items were reused or recycled. Higher-quality clothing is resold for reuse through thrift stores across North America and other secondhand markets worldwide, while lower-grade materials are repurposed into industrial rags, stuffing, or insulation. By prioritizing clothing reuse, Helpsy helps significantly reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry—proving that what we wear doesn’t have to become waste.
